Norchard Farmhouse is a large, period farmhouse dating back in part to the 13th century. Inglenook fireplaces, beamed and sloping ceilings, antique furniture and a lovely country style kitchen add to
the character and atmosphere found in the farmhouse. Although narrower than the standard 4ft 6 inch beds, the 4ft double bed started life as a handmade Welsh Oak sculpture, made by local sculptor Richard James. A chromatherapy panel in the bathroom offers guests the chance to relax in the original antique bath, whilst enjoying mood enhancing lighting, this is complimented with iridescent tiling.
French doors open out onto a curved lawn, steps lead up from this garden to a larger, higher lawn with a sunken trampoline - sure to be a hit with the children. The setting, next to a real farm, and only
approximately 5.5 miles from Saundersfoot and 4.5 miles from Tenby is ideal for families or groups wanting their own detached holiday house with its own space, but within easy driving distance of the many attractions of Pembrokeshire. Carew Castle and Tidal Mill are only a few miles away, as is Folly Farm - a perfect all weather attraction for families, the local farm shops, pubs and restaurants are hidden around the pretty rural lanes towards the upper reaches of the Cleddau River. For beach lovers a 10 minute drive takes you to Saundersfoot with its harbour and Blue Flag beach, and Tenbys pretty pastel coloured harbour and walled town is only a further 5 or so minutes drive. The house has been decorated and furnished in a classic country style and is ideally suited for families or groups wanting to enjoy their getaway.
